Cabin Fever
Right to the chase; blah. Initially, Cabin Fever had me pretty excited. I can never help but be optimistic when a horror movie looks like it may be good. I love the genre so much that I can easily get swept away by wishful thinking. Sadly, Cabin Fever doesn’t deliver much; a few laughs, a few mouthfuls of blood, and a few severed body parts … pretty standard (standard being a thing which is tough to distinguish in a field so filled with garbage). There isn’t much to latch on to here, not even the forced homages to some past successful horror films.
Perhaps October’s edition of Exhumed Films will bring some much needed scares.
Yeah, very mediocre. Would be cool to see on like a double feature afternoon for like 5 bucks, but not $9.50!!!!!
I was hoping for a second there was gonna be a surprise outta left field towards the end of the flick, when that one hick had that brown box he was carrying…what do you think was in THAT box?!?!
Besdies that, it tries to be a cross between Evil Dead, Deliverance, and Last House On The Left, so at least its heart is in the right place
Oh, and as always at The Bridge, the audience particpation:
“Bitch, why you be shavin’ yer legs and shit!”
don’t sit next to DONNY!
“Pancakes!” One of the brief shining moments.
