Happy Cog Philadelphia

Just as Jeffrey says: it’s official, Happy Cog now has a Philadelphia office! Right now, the Philadelphia gang is composed of me, Greg Hoy, Rob Weychert, Dan Mall, Jon Aldinger, Mark Huot, Heather Shaw, and Robert Roberts-Jolly, all of whom I’ve worked with in the past and have found to be some of the most creative and talented people I know. I’ll still be working with Jeffrey and the others from the New York office, splitting time as Creative Director on both ends.

We are still getting going—and just moving into our office this week—but we are already working on some projects (while raising and lowering our desk chairs to find the sweet spot). There is plenty more to come, including a new Happy Cog website, but we couldn’t contain our excitement and hold in the news any longer. Philadelphia!

Sweet. Will there be fruit punch served at the grand opening?

Moving can be such a pain. As a helpful suggestion, I advise to give a “label” to whatever is in the box. That way when you need it, at least the outside of the box can give you an idea whether or not what you need is in the box.

*Discreetly pulls a flask from the pocket of his faded purple velvet smoking jacket and pours it in the punch*

Best of luck, guys! I hope you’ll invite all of us to your opening party? I’m seeing Fig Newtons, lots of Apple hardware and maybe a couple guys with accordions .…

Accordions and Spanish Fly apparently. It’s good to feel a little scared when you go to a party.

This is really weird… I was on the Ektron site and saw Decibel Magazine’s write-up of their project… clicked on Jason’s site and saw your big news just posted today! I was wondering where you all were and am glad to hear that you will be doing great things together. Best of luck!!

Jason, congrats!

I’m from KC and was pleased to see the KC Chiefs site was developed by Happy Cog, but disappointed to find that it was taken over by VML. I loved the old one and can’t stand the new one.

What happened?
