Out of Commission

I don’t know how he did it, but I can say with utmost certainty that Inman got me sick. It’s the exact type of thing he would do. Now that I am the only one running this business, there really aren’t any sick days. When I am out, production grinds to a halt. What’s worse, I no longer have the luxury of getting paid for my body’s ailments. Oh well, at least my boss doesn’t hassle me too much.

So deadlines get pushed, schedules get thrown around, and “downtime” becomes a time to scramble and make sure stuff gets done… in between mad dashes to the bathroom. At times it’s been truly horrifying, without getting too graphic, we’ll just say it was coming out both ends at once. Though I started to feel better towards the end of yesterday, I can only assume it’s because my body had nothing left to painfully force outside of itself. Whether I wanted to or not, my body decided to take a three day weekend. Uh… ooo… you’ll have to excuse me now…

Well, that was way too graphic, but get well soon! :)

Man, that suck. And blows. Both ways.

Hope you feel better soon!

Did you get any medication for that? I know that it’s “better out than in” but some Imodium or something like that might calm down your stomach and nerves.

Yes indeed I did. Thanks to some meds, some gatorade, and about 16 sporadic hours of sleep, I am climbing my way back to sanity, and regularity, as I write this.

My guess is that it was that romantic kiss you shared at Tabu in Vegas. These things can take a few months to incubate sometimes.

Get better soon. And please don’t add any dramatizations of your evacuations to Virtual Stan. You don’t want to lose the PG-13 rating.

I’m Stan! This is my friend Today’s Lunch.

To quote Shrek: “Better out than in; that’s what I always say”

Sounds worse than the dream I had about you being sick. Or, more specifically, Liz being sick. I’ll tell you once you’re better. Get better. And God help you, Inman if a spore of that viral hell makes it into my damp/warm!

Whoa, that’s interesting… I can’t even chew gum and, er, sit in the restroom at the same time (I choke). How you accomplished, er, what you mentioned, is beyond me…

Ya, for the longest time I was the only Graphic Designer in our dept. Talk about pressure to not get sick. I was taking so many vitamins, it felt like I was turning into a life size flinstone tablet. Glad to hear you’re getting better. ^^

don’t blame inman—i think your illness is a result of all the bad juju being directed at virtual stan. don’t underestimate virtual voodoo.

Both ends. Ugh, I know how you feel. I have this wierd condition where when that happens I pass out and lay in all that stuff until I come to. Just be glad you don’t have that issue…
