Ten Questions For Me
I’ve just received the Ten Question treatment from Mr. Russ Weakley over at the Web Standards Group. Find out all you ever wanted to know about me that a mere 10 questions could cover. Perhaps I even answer the most important question, “American Cheese or Cheez Whiz?” Who knows? You will just have to read it and find out.
I realize it’s been quiet around here, but fear not. I’ve been hard at work, and there are some big announcements coming up veeeeeery soon. Sit tight, buckaroo.
Wow, that was a trip in the past for all the great articles you’ve written. Now I’m gonna spend all day reading them again; no work’s getting done around here. Congrats Stan.
Great interview, Stan! Designers of all experience levels can benefit from this.
Yup, I know now what book to buy.
Big announcements!!!?? Are we all getting bikes!? That’d be awesome!
Yes! Banana seats for everyone!
Sweeeet! Banana seats.
When I was about 12 I raced a girl with a 10-speed on my banana seat bike. I was winning when my foot slipped off the pedal, I veered into a ditch, flew over the handlebars and broke my arm. That explains a lot about the way I am today…
Anyway, great interview with handy linkage to some of your best posts.
2 More Questions:
11. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
12. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
After reading your interview I lost 11 lbs., regained my self-confidence, and now I’m going to go find my long lost twin. Thank you web-standards superman!
It’s nice to read interviews like this, and after reading stan’s interview, I went on to read others. Oddly enough, I think I am on the right train track. The only thing holding me down, is time. It seems that being a “web standards superman” doesn’t happen by just a spider bite. It takes alot of time, effort, heart & soul to get to where Jason is today. I can’t wait to see what else you have up your sleeve Jason!
Great article.
Back to the banana seat discussion. A friend of mine not only had a banana seat on his bike, it had a 5-speed stick shift on the frame. It was a Schwinn. He also had the throttle thing that slipped over the handlebar grip and made a motorcycle sound when you twisted it. I think they stopped making those bikes because too many kids were ruining their chances to have kids later in life.
YOU get a bike! YOU get a bike! YOU get a bike!
One of my favorite quotes:
The curse of the “D” Word:
Do you make things look nice regardless of content? Do you spend more time worrying about aesthetics than meaning? Do you fiddle with style and ignore substance? If the answers are yes, yes, or yes, then you are a decorator.
Wow can’t wait for the whole story m8!
