Camp Naked Terror 4

Camp Naked Terror 4

This weekend brought with it the fourth annual Camp Naked Terror party, and I am glad to say it was another bloody massacre. As in previous years, Camp Naked Terror is the celebration of three June birthdays, Rob, Sutter, and myself (as well as a surrogate fourth from Pete’s September birthday). Each year the doors to the camp swing open, all minds awash with expectant optimism that this year may be different than the last. Alas, the camp must be cursed, because each year ends up in bloodshed.

The rules are quite simple: drink a lot, dance a lot, and adhere to each year’s dress code. Last year was Film, the year before that was Music… this time around was Video Games. From the interactive Super Mario chance blocks, the triple costume of Pong, to the frighteningly obscure Jimmy from The Wizard, this year’s party included some of the best variety of costumes yet. We had some really tough choices to make when it came time to award the door prizes. I also fulfilled many friends’ dreams this year by not only donning a mustache but also dressing the part as Mario. I have been told by a few that they can now die happy, knowing that there is still good in the world. You twisted bastards.

I know you all love to see us make asses of ourselves so I put lots of pictures on Flickr for your viewing pleasure. Check out Liz as the beautiful Princess Toadstool, Sutter as Luigi, Rob and Peter as the Contra guys, and much much more. Enjoy, Camp Naked Terror 4!

My god man, I don’t know if you should have posted those.

And I thought I partied.

Worst of all, the group has been exposed as AC Cola drinkers. For shame!

I’m not even sure that there are words to describe those photos. You guys are nuts, but I’m sure you had a blast.

Ooh, I made it into one of the photos …and behind the cowboy no less!

Hey, did you guys ever eat that cake?

I hope next year they open the camp as a Surrealist Artist Camp. Then you can kick your Dalí ’stache.

I wish I had come on the party this year. And last.

Seeing Jason dressed as Super Mario is like seeing Patrick Stewart play Dr. Xavier. It’s the roll he was born to play! The close second was the year that Jay dressed up as Daniel LaRusso from karate kid. Rob didn’t make a very convincing Mr. Miyagi.
