It depends on how often you have to deal with it. I see those papers you pictured day after day and they probably as boring as the money you use day after day.
Yeah, but they redesign our money every few years and spend millions on a marketing campaign explaining the great new anti-counterfeiting features… only to redesign it again in a few more years due to counterfeiting. I think my favorite is still the Australian money a friend of mine brought back. Beautifully designed, and made on this great tear-proof paper.
What’s also quite neat is the way they differentiate one side of the Euro according to the country. They’ll accept it everywhere, of course, but ‘Italian’ Euros will have different landmarks on the back to, say, ‘German’ Euros. See if you can spot them all.
Thing is… I never hear about massive counterfeiting problems. I’m inclined to think the redesigning of the bills is more distraction than anything else. Pretty pointless all in all.
See if you can spot them all. ??
You will never see them all, because the euros in Vatikaanstad (where the pope lives) keeps there money, the work on the money from europe

Our money kicks ass, and you know it. Except for the 10, which is a bit mank.

Bah… I so prefer the Guilder Banknotes. (Especially those by Kruit and Oxenaar, like the the ƒ250.)
I really dislike just about everything about the Euro.
I think I like the “Schweizer Franken”: images.google
Coins. Rock.

And I’ve never understood how redesigning the money prevents counterfeiting, considering the old money is still, and always will be, accepted.
