as someone who lives on south street, i feel the need to refute the honorable mr. een’s suggestion that such an historic thoroughfare is populated with “collapsed buildings,” as though… oh, forget it. he’s right—that middle stretch of south st. is full of deconstructed buildings that yield nice strata like this.
