what gets me is that there appear to be shims under the headstones—i would guess to prevent them from being damaged by contact with the asphalt. a nice enough tactic, but why put the headstones there in the first place?
So - here’s the explaination:
On my way to work I pass by an old Dairy Queen. It was recently closed and sold to a fellow who owns a funeral home business. He’s taken the DQ signs off and put up a message on the big “clip-on-letter” sign out front that they’ll be “building”…but right now there’s a hearse parked out front of the old DQ - I didn’t even see these until I pulled in to shoot the photos!
Ew. God. That’s creepy.
A creepy album cover!!
It’s really the only way to stop zombies from rising from the dead.
it’s like the people they thought were dead turned out to be alive and well so they just ditched their headstones in the nearest lot.

No no no. You’ve got it all wrong. It’s a car cemetery. Sheesh.

I really think it’s the picnic table in the background that brings the whole thing together.
I agree Joel - the picnic table is great back there! I can see band in Ian’s creepy LP concept eating lunch back there on the back of the album cover…
This would be great for a ‘write-the-caption’ conetest…
An old DQ? Will they offer cryogenic services? Hey-oh!
