Dan Mall, Jon Aldinger, and Mark Huot introduce swfIR, a Flash-based, image replacement technique. Some features include: dynamic image rotation, rounded corners, and my favorite, elastic images. For image resizing, Flash has one of the better rendering engines, ensuring smoother images as they grow. Fantastic technique! Read more about the development on Dan’s site.
