Contempt
Though it’s contrasty and blown-out, those qualities create something beautiful in this shot. It’s also a great achievement that I managed to drag Liz outside so early in the day.

She looks really thrilled to be out so early, too.
Oh my… her disdain is palpable. And how fancy am I for using “disdain” and “palpable” in a sentence!
I also love it because it’s so tough to get Liz to not mug for the camera. This is a rarity indeed!
exactly, stan, it’s actually kind of shocking not to see than grin in a photograph.
I am trying to let this pic grow on me a bit. I feel like it doesn’t even look like me so I can appreciating it as if it weren’t even me. I would just like to point out that it wasn’t THAT early and I was raring to go without anyone having to DRAG me outta the house :)
I agree with you, the over-exposure does lend a terrific quality to this photo. Although makes it seem that you’re in the Rockies rather than down on Broad.
Beautiful! And looking kinda pissed off. “The look”?
Kick ass glasses! Love the high key effect.
#5 RIGHT-ON, YOU LOOK A LITTLE ANGELINA, YOU GO GIRL.
BIG LIPS, BIG SUNGLASSES, MUMMERS PARADE, I’M DIGGIN IT!
